Our practice is committed to providing you and your family with safe,
gentle, high-quality dental care. We
understand that you, or your child, may feel
anxious about visiting the dentist. We are
sensitive to your needs, and it is our goal
to make you feel comfortable visiting our
practice while providing the best care
possible.
During your first visit, we will review your dental and medical history
forms, and also take X-rays of your teeth and
jaw. The doctor will discuss your X-rays,
help you create your own individual
treatment plan, and answer any questions
that you may have. Then either at that
visit, or at your next visit, one of our
hygienists will clean and polish your teeth.
We understand that you have a busy schedule, so when you're preparing to
visit the dentist, please remember that your
appointments can last between 45 and 90
minutes.
Helpful tips before your first appointment
- Bring your health card and any dental insurance information you’d like us to submit.
- Make a short list of concerns (pain, sensitivity, broken teeth, cosmetic goals) so nothing is missed.
- If you have recent dental X-rays, you can request they be forwarded to our office.
New patient FAQ
Do I need to arrive early?
Arriving a few minutes early helps with paperwork and allows time to review your dental and medical history.
What happens at the first visit?
Most first visits include a review of your history, an exam, and any recommended X-rays or photos. We then discuss findings and treatment options so you can decide what to do next.
Can you estimate costs before treatment?
Yes. When possible, we can review fees and provide estimates before proceeding, especially for larger treatment plans.
